The A380 at LHR
Here are some pics of the A380 that I've been able to snag while on the ramp at LHR. It does not initially appear to be as big as it really is. I think its the very wide fuselage playing a trick on your eyes. When it's side by side with a 747, you get a better frame of reference, and that' when you notice how tall the vertical tail really is.
