Greenland

Here are some aerial photos of Greenland you might enjoy. Glaciers are immense, even from 36,000 feet. However, the huge icebergs seem to lose their size from that altitude, and kind of look like floating foam pellets. While viewing the photos, you can check out the Google Maps Sattelite Photo.

Glaciers spilling out into bays, creating the icebergs.

The west coast of Greenland, taken on June 3rd, 2008.

Note that the west coast is much flatter than the east.

Not as many glaciers and hence, not as many icebergs.
